I guess the problem with this world is most men are order-taking wimps while others actually have a conscience and know how to think for themselves. There are people in the United States who certainly sorrow for the fiery trial you are enduring at the hands of this country. We don't know what makes men choose evil rather than good, but God will hold to their account all their actions, even the secret acts, and will judge them accordingly.
We are praying for you folks. We pray for your salvation from all the sin and evil that are in the hearts of men today. God said that He would avenge all the wrongs and we were to bring all men to Him in peace and love. There certainly doesn't seem to be much of that for you dear people, is there.
We will be electing a president tomorrow that I pray will drain the quagmire this man Bush has gotton the whole world involved in. As a citizen of the US, I'm sorry about what you have to go through and yes we will continue to write letters, make phone calls, and keep informed about the situation on the ground in Fallujah.

Sufis are not pacifists - Sufis were prominent in the fighting against the Russians in the Caucasus in the 19th century, the Dutch in Java and Acheh in the 1880s, the French in Algeria, the Spanish in Morocco, the Italians in Libya, the British in the NWFP, the Serbs and Croats in Bosnia, and also against the Americans now in Iraq - the Iraqis of the "Sunni triangle" have a very high percentage of Sufis. Sufis are not different or separate from Muslims of other trends. All will fight aggression and injustice. As the Almighty says "...wa la ta'tadou; in Allaha la yuhibbu-l mu'tadeen..." (...do not aggress; Allah does not love the aggressors...). The Way of the Sufi is the Way of Jihad.
I can't accept that the so-called Christians of the West are really followers of Jesus peace be upon him if they are willing to aquiesce in this behavior of their leaders and own people. Perhaps they should read the Gospels again, as they obviously haven't done so recently (and don't start with the Book of Revelations - begin at the beginning with St Matthew)?

What seems bitterly ironic to me (as an external observer of America's crusade in Iraq) is the disingenouos notion of taking democracy to Iraq at a time when US democracy is suffering a crisis of legitimacy. News services throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region have been bombarding us with stories of voter suppression, non-verifiable voting machines, court orders and actions etc. What an indictment on the status of the worlds so-called bastion of democracy! We here in Australia have just had a federal election and, although I am not happy with the return of our conservative government, I can at least say that it recieved a legitimate mandate! Over here voting is compulsory for all persons over 18yrs. This may seem somewhat un-democratic, but is predicated on the notion that voting is a civic duty and essential in ensuring both the health of the democracy through delivering an unquestionable mandate to the elected government. Another aspect of our voting system is that it works on what is known as a preferential basis. Ie: you prefer Nader, but would rather Kerry over Bush, preferential voting gives you the ability to vote in order of preference, in this case Nader 1st, Kerry 2nd, Independant 3rd, Bush 4th etc. Basically it ensures that somewhere along the line your vote counts! I know this is a bit of a rant, but hopefully it illustrates why, to an outsider, the US system looks dreadfully unrepresentative and undemocratic.

you obviously haven't read your crusader histoy have you??...coz if you had, you would be ashamed to even call yourself a crusader (but losers do not know any better). Firstly coz they were animals, savages, oh and not to mention cannibals (docuemnted crusader history they cooked and eat their vistims in Marat) all for the name of Jesus?...I don't think so, Jesus was a great teacher and prophet (peace be upon him).
