Battle Of Samara - 7 Helicopters Downed, 147 Troops Killed (recovered)

In a very bad turn of events for US invaders, the occupation along with Iraqi occupation police and army attempted to take the city of Samara similtanously from three axis (North, South, and West).
What was unknown to the occupiers was that the resistance had countered with a well devised trap where the US invaders were themselves surrounded from three areas which was the towns of "Balad, Dhaluia, Thirthar." The resistance used heavy wepons to attack the US inavders in the form of "Al-Tariq" (range 33 km), "Karad" (range 24 km), "Katushia" (range 11.3 km and 8.3km), "Mortor 120ml" (range 9.2 km and 7.2 km).
To counter the attack, the US forces called in its attack helicopters which were easy prey for the resistance as the area the helicopters need to fly over is heavy in trees and palm groves giving cover to the resistance. A total of 7 helicopters were shot down beginning with a Black Hawk, then a Cobra, then another Cobra, then a Chinook which was being used to land troops west of Samara, then two Apache helicopters which were downed to the north of Samara. The weopns used to take down the helicopters were the "Strella, C5K, Dimotrov 14.5 ml".
The resistance also managed to destroy 4 Abram tanks, 7 Humer's, two transports and kill over 82 Iraqi occupation soldiers and 65 US soldiers.
After this attack, the US called in its F14 and F16 attack planes which bombed the city for a straight 8 hours using cluster bombs, napalm, and laser guided weapons. Fearing for the life of the city's inhabitants, the resistance withdrew from sections of Samara and moved to the surrounding villages and towns where it attempted to draw the US forces towards it and away from the city.
This tactic was sucessful at stopping the attacks. The current situation in Samara has the resistance in control of 70% of the city with the Us and Iraq occupation army holding the remaining 30%.
The number of civilians killed in the attacks is yet unknown due to many homes falling on their inhabitants. What has been confirmed is 115 dead and 154 injured. The dead from the resistance has reached between 23-25, not counting the wounded.

and consistent with some aspects of Western reporting (e.g. about the attcks on civilian housing in Samarra). This is a great propaganda loss for the US, and I hope it has a negative effect on his reelection campaign, and a step closer to trial in the Hague.
Those poor Iraqi people. I hope none are still foolish enough to think that the coalition of the killing is there to liberate them.

Let me ask Secretary Powell a few questions-
1) What would Americans do if a foreign power attacked them on phony premises?
2) What would they do if their national infrastructure was destroyed by the attackers?
3) What would they do if their friends and family were imprisoned, raped, murdered, tortured and ruthlessly brutalized by the attackers?
4) What would they do if the interim government installed by the attackers was nothing more than a charade?
5) What would they do if they were 70% unemployed with no signs of improvement?
6) What would they do if they had to live in unhealthy conditions because of the destruction of hospitals, lack of medicines, lack of water treatment plants, etc.?
7) What would they do if their cities and towns were bombed to supposedly kill "insurgent" safe houses, instead killing many innocent civilians?
8) What would they do if the people who had the courage to fight the attackers(real freedom fighters) were rounded up and imprisoned or executed?
I myself am quite sure what many Americans would do, the ones who still have the courage to stand up for what is right- they would fight back and try to expel the attacker/occupier. Since when did our government and its leaders get the right to determine who has the right to act like a human being and who doesn't?

Out of 2368, only 80 USAns would die. At the least, you would expect by 18 months that these attacks would be coordinated to maximise the USAn causilities. At the least you could say 2000 killed/wounded last month.

Therefore accurate predictions of US troop losses to date in Iraq are somewhere between 15,000-18,000

The US army entered Samarra on Sept 9th and set up a city council so what are they doing reinvading the place less than one month later? Fill in the blanks. The US and it suppets were run out of the city and the US airforce is bombing the hell out of it in revenge. Some victory.

The world may indeed be a better place because Saddam is in jail.
But why did American taxpayers have to foot the entire bill of $200 billion a year with money that they had to borrow to accomplish that dubious goal. It would have more cost effective to keep Saddam in power.
Now the Iraq war is exposing all of the US military, economic, political, diplomatic and financial weaknesses.
The $200 a billion a year does not include the increase cost of imported oil that went from $23 dollars a barrel before the war to $50 a barrel last week. Next week oil will surpass $60 as it heads to $100 by early next year.
The US is now desperate to find foreign investors to fund its $2 billion a day twin deficits- budget and current account.
One third of the Federal budget deficit goes towards the cost in Iraq and that does not even include interest payments.
Future American generations will be left with an enormous debt burden in which they can't possibly afford the interest payments.
It is hard to see what the US has gained from its regime change in Iraq, except for the staggering debt burden.
The US is still paying for all of its past wars including the Korean, Vietnam, and Cold Wars, as all of that debt just piles up, accumulating and being added to the Iraq and Afganistan war costs.

I want the rest of the world to know that not All Americans Support this Immoral and Unproductive War/Occupation of Iraq! Today in Washington, D.C.
