disregard for the Geneva Convention!
From other recent articles, it seems that Bush is on his way out. This is bound to be the time when the psychopath is at his most dangerous.
C'mon USA - get Bush/Cheney out and replace them with Republicans that will get your troops out, and respected - not further in, and MUCH MUCH disrespected...

"The American and Iraqi troops are getting support from tanks and fighter jets but the Times reporter says by nightfall, they had managed to take control of only several blocks of a key town."

as has been well documented on this site:
www.iraq-war.ru/article/54094
What makes them think they can take it now? The more they fight dirty, the more they alienate themselves.

These are not humans although they look human. They are basically Animals in mentality and behaviour no matter how they look, good or bad.
Its amazing that the human being of the so called Western World have the strongest exihibitions of Animal behaviour and lack of Empathy to thy Next.!!!
And then they speak of the so called Civilized World.!!!
I just wonder what is that??????????????+

Iraq Resistance is learning quickly how to fight with US Army; I am sure that they prepared a strong and hidden fire points to greet a invasion.
Nobody died during attack..., nobody died like in those case:
www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,30000-1130577,00.html
In such density of fighting US will withdraw sooner than everybody thinks, I hope.
I desegree, that US citizens are Animals, first, I have nothing against animals, second, US citizens are under mass propaganda. Look on this discussion:
skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=276286&page=2&pp=20
from post 33 and next page, I tried to show to this US citizen (called freedom...) truth about Iraq War, read this, it is obvious that many of them dont know nothing, they are twisted by propagande, they are believing that US Army isn't kill civilians and so on...

The behaviour and mentality of the US which is implemented through their citizens participation, by a so called democratically elected government which the people are respnsible for its election and actions, does not exhibit any human empathy, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, plus all covert operations around the globe, plus all hidden jails around the globe, plus all coming wars around the globe.
What is all that????
The projection of the animalistic behaviour by preying on other countries for its own survival is so clear that even animals do not match that in cruelty.!!

I woulf like to split a US Nation and a goverment. US citizens usually don't know nothing, they are even believing that USA is doing good in the world (like those guy called freedom who spoke with me, in post above I gave a link);
another thing is US goverment, military corporations, high commanders...they are destroying countries with full awarness, in the name of military and oil corporations, in the name of domination...
This cant be even compare with animals, animals are killing to survive, USA is killing to expand, and sometimes (like in fallujah) becouse they want to revenge...
They are showing the worst side of human nature, they can be compared only with Nazi bastards.

No, I would rather compare USA to the old colonial empires such as UK, France, Italy, USA, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Japan. Of course, Germany had an empire too.
These countries enslaved and looted their countries for centuries.

it’s a colonial adventure par excellence.
1. For some years I‘ve been of the opinion that the second great colonial war (or WWII) never ended. Rather, the losing parties (e.g. Germany, Japan and Italy) just dropped out from the great colonial contest as the Allied shared the profits (or colonies). Soon America – as it was seen there – “lost China” (spare Taiwan) and UK India, Pakistan and other areas on the region. Having learnt the lesson US acted as savagely on Korea (the Japan inheritance) as UK in Indonesia. Soon after France (financed by US) “lost” Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos which were again inherited by US with the well-known consequences.
2. Not to even mention the South America, ‘the cold war” can be seen as a cover for a series of US colonial interventions. When you have a closer look, you’ll notice that there’s a complementary distribution between the countries involved in WWII and those dragged to war after it, basically meaning that it was now their turn to be shared by the remaining “runners” in the colonial conquest.
3. After the Soviet Union dropped out there remained only US and UK and their illusion of victory over cold war (while in fact it was the Saudi Arabia’s (and OPEC’s) war on oil prizes that collapsed the USSR’s economy). Already stupid, they now became greedy, a development that has now culminated in Iraq. For my part, I’m convinced that US and UK, for the reasons obvious: according to my experience all wars (including colonial ones) reach a culmination point where the issue is solved in a Stalingrad- or Dienbienphu-styled close combat, where no technology (as e.g. ‘Shock and awe’) matters any more. The concept of colonialism (or imperialism) is hopelessly outdated, since the targets are no more armed only with spears and knives against fire arms.
4. As nasty as the situation looks like (and is, for the Iraqi people, I mean), I’m convinced that the beginning of the “Iraqi Tet-offensive” is only a question of time. When this happens, the colonial invaders are no longer talking loosely about the exit plan, but desperately seeking any means of retreat.

with my lenghty commentaries and numerous related articles I give them shortly here:
§1 I dropped my comment ‘A Review of latest U.S. Operation(s)’ (= the ‘Steel Curtain’) under www.iraqwar.mirror-world.ru/article/69269.
§2. I’d like to underline, that a recent article send by sjreese www.iraqwar.mirror-world.ru/article/69362 introduces the new concept of the US generals, which is thus closely related.
§3. I want also to cite here the famous line from Condrad’s ‘Heart of Darkness’, where (Colonel) Kurtz goes on saying: “Of course you must take care of the motives – right motives – always.” Are the U.S. motives sound?
§4. Previous line is changed in the ‘Apocalypse Now’ (the movie) as a general staff’s discussion on Kurtz’s methods. Now, and this is my point, do have a look on uruknet.info/?p=m17540 and other articles concerning this assault. Are the U.S. methods sound?
§5. On the topic, who is gonna win this war, have a look upon the Spirit of the Resistance: In South Vietnam armed resistance started as follows. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Dinh, later e.g. the Deputy Commander of the National Liberation Front Armed Forces relates how in 1959/60 “I received a letter from the higher levels instructing me to attend a conference to hear a new and extremely important resolution (...) Sau Duong gave a report on the current situation and the policy adopted by the higher levels. The moment he mentioned this policy I felt an immense joy and happiness. It clearly called for the mobilization of the people all over the South to carry out political struggle in conjunction with military action. The moment they heard military action mentioned the conference burst out in stormy applause (...) here she relates her trip back to the province leadership commitee (...) After I located the Committee they immediately asked:
– What’s the new policy?
I could not hide my enthusiasm:
– It’s great!”
Do you think you people like this could be won with unsound motives and unsound methods?
p.s. The full story can be found in a book ‘Vietnam and America The Most Comprehensive Documented History of the Vietnam War’, Revised and Enlarged Second Edition, Ed. by Marvin E. Gettleman, Jane Franklin, Marilyn B. Young, and H. Bruce Franklin, Grove Press, New York, pp. 177-178).
