I thought "gnawing rats" was the latest US operation against the resistance in Fallujah.

This is dated just BEFORE the coup in Mauritania. Is that your point?

"The sources said that the American unit, dubbed “gnawing rats,” was to carry out assassinations, sabotage of government installations and random bombings, all of which could be blamed on the Iraqi Resistance."
Yeah, bomb the shia, blame it on the sunni, bomb the sunni blame it on the shia. sunni and shia slaughter each other. Iraq puppet forces keeps order and breaks up the resistance.
Hey US, this shit was done by the brits a longggg time ago. Iraqis surely know this already.

Al-Fallujah.
Resistance martyrdom bombing Wednesday afternoon reportedly kills high-ranking US commander in al-Fallujah on an inspection tour.
The al-Fallujah correspondent for Mafkarat al-Islam reported that the blast destroyed two of the vehicles – one Humvee and the other one of the four-wheel drive armor plated cars. A source in the Iraqi puppet army who asked not to be identified told the Mafkarat al-Islam correspondent that a high-ranking US military commander was killed in the attack. The commander was on his way into the city to conduct an inspection of the occupation forces and the political situation in al-Fallujah.
At the time of writing, the correspondent had no information regarding the name of the American commander who was killed or those who were killed along with him. The area was surrounded by large numbers of US forces and American helicopters were hovering in the air above the attack zone and adjacent areas.
We'll need to notice who this high-ranking U.S. commander was.

Nigropointe's fingerprints are all over this one. But since the Iraqis know they are coming, know where they are staying, I'm sure they'll have a warm welcome ready for them when they get there.
Viva la resistance.

I hear the echo, in that poem, of the profound sadness and bottomless suffering of the Iraki people. Geez, all I can say is Vive la résistance irakienne... and may victory shower them and their families with the best things in life! Meantime, take courage and stay determined, our hearts, minds and prayers all are with you, we haven't forgotten you! We love you, no matter how ugly your invaders are trying to depict you. Keep standing tall, you're above the rest of mankind and a model to all of us!

According to the above IRR for August 3rd US suffered:
71 US soldiers killed + incl. 14 kia or wia & dozens more severe wia
This time very high number of US fatalities. Above 71 includes 14 kia or wia and one dead US correspondet.
Without crude number of US army fatalities is
54 US soldiers killed for sure + 14 kia or wia
However toll is large !
54 US soldiers back home in pieces !!!
ALLAHU AKBAR WA IZZATU LILLAH ALLAHU AKBAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great time the IR are having recently :) May Allah SWT bless these Justice Warriors. The US will have to disguise its losses even more and so dig themselves into a deeper hole for when the truth finally comes out. I have a feeling thought that they report the 'visible' casualties i.e. those from wealthy families etc that would make a big fuss if their son didn't return home after some period. I think they are much more likely to disguise the green-card seekers and contract mercs.
WELL DONE IR :)
