Hopefully Telesur will become what alJazeera should have and could have been, a truly independent news source.
Still, alJazeera is not bad as CNN or FOX.
AlJazeera is, so far, still not as bad as the BBC.
Despite that, it is a long way to go before it can return to what it was originally intended to be.
I am very much looking forward to Telesur.

Many South American people have been migrating to North America for decades. Many people have migrated from Venezuala and Cuba to North America. In the border states, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, California, the language spoken in these new communities is Spanish/Mexican, and white people are not that welcome.

Now the reports (truthseeker) that Venezuala has more oil than the middle-east, will be interesting to see how Chavez handles these greater finances for his people.

who knows? It may well be in english in the near future.
Latin America is a tragic continent, so rich but so poor due to the wealth distribution and imperial loothers. This explain why they have so many Nobel Prices in literature, poetry and peace, when there is so much disparity to denounce.
For those who wants to learn spanish you will be most amazed to hear or read Fidel Castro speeches - just an amazing teacher of masses and this is why he has been able to survive so long - because he communicates extremely well about the issues that people care e.g. rfucation, health, food, work, anti-imperial dominations, etc.
