Iran exports defense products to over 80 countries

Registering a 15-percent increase in military hardware production, Iran’s products valued at over $115 million were exported to more than 50 countries in the world.

I do not doubt the importance of an export market of $115 million but it seems to me this article was posted here as huge news by somebody whose mind filled in the blanks of what the article avoids to mention (the nature of the military products) with an erroneous overestimation... what? missiles? rockets? shells? tanks? airplanes? or just trousers and berets? Who can shed any light on this?

In other words, the same type of hardware that the Afghan and Iraqi resistance are using to decimate U.S. forces.
Also the same type of hardware that the Vietnamese People's Liberation Army used to rid their country of U.S. imperialism.

The iranian defence industry developed a lot in the last few years. The produce a wide variety of defence product, from precision rockets, o thermal cameras. They can reverse engeenering cobra helicopters, (with up to date glass cockpit), TOW anti-tank missiles and so on...You shouldnt underestimate them. You have the possibility(internet), to check these, because, so of these firms have websides.

Iran does domestically manufacture all of the things you mentioned and more, such as solid fuel rockets, fighter/interceptor aircraft, cruise missiles, etc.
But it does not sell all of them. It usually just sells the surplus of regular infantry items.
