In his presentation (annual 2004) the president of Royal Shell Group stated that Shell will produce after 2015 : 5 million brl per day (31.6% more than the present production). In the first qwt the production was 3.8 million brl per day.
He also stated that the reserve replacement ratio - the ratio between new deposites and recovered oil and gas - for the period 2004-2008 will be average more than 100%. This means that the company assumes that more oil and gas will be found than produced.
