Israeli war planes violate Lebanese air space
Sat, 27 Feb 2010 07:28:13 GMT
Lebanon military authorities say Israeli jets have violated the country's air space and broke sound barriers over several villages in southern parts of the nation.
Several Israeli fighters invaded Lebanese air space on Friday night and hovered over southern towns of Sidon, Marjayoun and Hasbaya.
The incident came amid heightened concern in Lebanon over recent Israeli threats against the country.
The Lebanese military reports, almost on a daily basis, airspace violations by Israeli aircraft, but does not normally open fire on them.
The UN considers Israeli violation of Lebanese air space to be against Security Council Resolution 1701, which brought an end to the Israeli offensive on Lebanon in 2006.

whether Hezbollah is in the possession of anti aircraft missles SA2 or other types.
The best thing is that Hezbollah should never let them know anything until a war takes place.

I am quite sure that they wouldn't dream of doing this with Iran. The israelis are a bunch of cowards and bullies. Always love to challenge unarmed people to fight when they are heavily armed.
It is quite clear to me all the previous wars they won against the Arabs were won with this overwhelming superiority. There was a time when the Palestinians were fighting them with sticks and stones and they had the gall to claim how they won the wars. What wars?
It can only be a real war when both sides are similarly armed and military strategy decides the outcome. Anything else is a mismatch. I predict that israel will never win another war they fight, united states assistance or not.
