According to a new study published in the Journal of Religion and Society, a high level of religious belief leads to more crime and other undesirable social problems.

While all the other kids on my street had allowances of two or five dollars a week, mine was a...quarter. Yet ma und pa the church addicts would stuff twenty even sometimes a hundred dollars into the offering plate every Sunday.
I've long gotten over it but it was a large factor in my early development. Still I'd rather burn my money or throw it off a bridge and watch it float away than give it to any house of Dogma.

proclaiming to be a 'zionist' it was the beginning of the end. Once I discovered that it means allegiance to Israel, that was it. Never did like the way their message was propagandized to the max on radio and television. It intensified by a factor of three when the PLO blew up the airliners. All the teachings of tolerance and civility went out the window, and I began to feel concern for the plight of Palastine.
Cast Lead was hard on our family as mom and dad will not bend when it comes to all matters pertaining to Israel.
As I posted here once before I can not bring myself to murder them, a serious fantasy of mine during Cast Lead. I bite my tounge and silently snicker at their frumpy remarks about locking up terrorists and 'throwing away the key'....how christian of them.
