3 mortars fall on Baghdad’s Green Zone

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Three mortar shells landed this morning on Baghdad’s fortified Green Zone, an Iraqi police source said.

There has been no word on casualties or damage.

The Green Zone is home to the U.S. and British embassies, and the Iraqi government offices and parliament.
