Israeli intelligence 'confirms NIE'

Israel confirms the recent US intelligence report on Iran's nuclear activities, saying it has no information contradicting the assessment.

The Zionist regime's War Ministry says Israeli intelligence does not have any data that differ from that cited in the US National Intelligence Estimate.

"Israeli intelligence confirms the findings," said an official in Israeli war minister, Ehud Barak's office on Monday on condition of anonymity.

However, Barak will urge President George W. Bush to reassess the US intelligence report during their meeting this week, added the official who was barred from publicly commenting on the talks in advance.

Despite the findings, Barak would tell President Bush that Israeli analysts conclude that Iran is continuing to try to develop nuclear arms, he noted.

Since releasing the report, Israel has continuously tried to portray the US National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Iran's nuclear program as seriously flawed.

Israeli minister of public security Avi Dichter had said that if the White House refuses to believe that Tehran intends to build weapons of mass destruction, Israel could be greatly threatened.

According to the NIE, Iran's nuclear program is aimed at civilian purposes.

What unmitigated gall!

From one side of their mouths, the Zionists admit they have no evidence to contradict the IAEA report or the NIE report.
But from the other side of their mouths, the Zionists are claiming that Iran is continuing to develop nukes.
